Market closing weak again !

It was a range bound market directed by Reliance Industries again which broke out in the last hour of trade making nifty closing weak at 2959-20 points below yesterday's close.Morning session was very boring with market trading in narrow range and reliance reluctant to go up and then in the late afternoon session, Reliance Industries showed clear signs of breaking and then broke down along with nifty.Top Nifty gainers included Bata, Redington while losers were Reliance, Matrix Labs etc.

Market close higher after initial range bound trade

Nifty started trading higher today above 2950 and was trading range bound for most part of the day and then late afternoon Reliance Industries as usual lifted the market to take nifty near and then at the close, Nifty closed at 2979, up 57 points from the previous close.The market breadth was positive with advances at 886 against declines of 307 on the NSE. Top Nifty gainers included Satyam Computers, Idea and RCom and losers includes Tata Steel Grasim and RPL.

Market started very weak today with nifty staying below 2850 mark for almost till mid-afternoon and then some positive global cues nifty started moving above 2850 to make a high of 2932 and banking, metal , oil and gas stocks helped the index to climb.The market breadth was positive with advances at 679 against declines of 512 on the NSE.Top nifty gainers included Sail, Satyam Computers and Cairn and losers included Tata Power, Maruti and Tata Motors.

The market opened above 2900 and was trading in strong resistance zone of 2960 till afternoon and also because of Reliance Industries holding the index and then started sliding in afternoon session along with Reliance Industries and later on crashed to make a low of 2845.Thus market ended weak at 2857, downdown 59 points from the previous close.There was selling in banking, IT and realty space. The market breadth was negative with advances at 339 against declines of 859 on the NSE.Top nifty gainers included RPL, Maruti and Nalco and losers included Reliance Industries, DLF and Nalco.
