It was a range bound market directed by Reliance Industries again which broke out in the last hour of trade making nifty closing weak at 2959-20 points below yesterday's close.Morning session was very boring with market trading in narrow range and reliance reluctant to go up and then in the late afternoon session, Reliance Industries showed clear signs of breaking and then broke down along with nifty.Top Nifty gainers included Bata, Redington while losers were Reliance, Matrix Labs etc.

Market close higher after initial range bound trade

Nifty started trading higher today above 2950 and was trading range bound for most part of the day and then late afternoon Reliance Industries as usual lifted the market to take nifty near and then at the close, Nifty closed at 2979, up 57 points from the previous close.The market breadth was positive with advances at 886 against declines of 307 on the NSE. Nifty very volatile around 2900 odd..!!

On friday, trading was very volatile and today it may show some direction and Reliance Industries as alway's will be key figure today also.On global front, The Dow Jones industrial average rose 64.59 points to end at 8,629.68.In the latest in the U.S. automakers' attempt to secure a financial rescue, the White House said it could be willing to provide emergency funding to the struggling auto industry, the day after Congress failed to approve a deal.Volume was low on the New York Stock Exchange, with about 1.44 billion shares changing hands, below last year's estimated daily average of roughly 1.90 billion.For today, in indian market nifty will face first resistance around 3950 and if gets past that it will move towards 3980 big resistance where selling will come heavily and on downside, nifty will move towards 2900 first and then 2870 will be tested again and remain below that for sometime, total weekness will come to the market.

Market looks tired and on the verge of breaking

It was a very small movement day for nifty for most part of the day yesterday with bias being negative and only Reliance at the end pulled the market up at close.On global scenario,
The Dow Jones industrial average fell 196.33 to 8,565.09 as.investors grew fearful that a bill to rescue the companies wouldn't make it through the Senate.The heads of the three automakers said that even one of the companies going into bankruptcy would slam an already battered economy with thousands of job losses.The dollar was mostly lower against most other major currencies, while gold rose. Light, sweet crude jumped $4.46 to settle at $47.98 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.Bank of America Corp. said Thursday it expects to cut 30,000 to 35,000 jobs over the next three years, as it faces a deteriorating economic environment and tries to absorb Merrill Lynch & Co.The company and Merrill have about 308,000 employees in total, and the cuts will affect workers from both companies and all types of businesses.In indian market today, nifty will face tough resistance at 2950 and then 2985 where heavy selling is expected again.Downside, nifty spot is having strong support at 2870 and if nifty stays below 2870 with volume for sometime, it will crash to 2850 and then 2800 today.Today's opening and closing is very important.

Watch out for higher level selling now

Nifty has zoomed past 2900 and ended very positive and for today corrections wil come from higher levels and be cautious in gap up opening if any.On global scenario, The Dow Jones industrial average rose 70.09 to 8,761.42.he dollar was lower against most other major currencies, which helped feed the rally in commodities.Democrats in Congress and the White House finalized an agreement on $14 billion in loans for Detroit's struggling car companies. However, the plan negotiated by the White House is being opposed by a group of conservatives.That fed worries that other financial houses might be facing their own troubles after placing wrong bets in the unforgiving markets in recent months. The concerns rippled through financial services stocks, causing banks including Citigroup Inc. to give up early gains.In indian market today, if nifty gets past 2950, it will face heavy resistance around 2985 and then 3005 where heavy selling will come.On downside, major support is at 2870 and break of that will invite severe selling till 2835-2790.Watch out for action day today.

Market witnessed choppy movements on monday and facing pressure at higher ends.On global scenario, DOW jones has crashed 242.85 to close at 8691.33 showing uncertainty prevailing in the market.In indian market today, if nifty gets past 2800, it will again test 2850 resistance and if stays above 2850 with volume, then chances of hitting 2900 is bright.But higher level uncertainity is still continuing here also.If nifty stays below 2800, it will first test 2740 support and then 2675 and if breaks 2675 any time, it may go to 2600 staright...! Market loooking bullish from lower levels

On friday, though nifty zoomed past 2800 it couldn't sustain above that and came down and closed near 2700.On global scenario, things are positive and indian market also might take cues from global market and start moving up again today.DOW has closed the day at 8635.42 on friday-up by 259.18 points.For today, nifty above 2720 will move towards 2780-2820 (strong resistance) again.Below 2700, strong support exists at 2675.So, untill 2675 is saved market is bullish only and any move above 2845 will take nifty towards 2900 straight.Tomorrow being a trading holiday, some volatility may be expected in the indian market today.Be cautious at higher levels today.

Market in downtrend below 2950..!!

It was a very bad day for market yesterday as nifty broke 2950 and closed below it and looks like one more testing of 2850 wil be on now and break might be severe.On global scenario, The Dow Jones industrial average shed 176.58 to 8,693.96 after falling by more than 300.The credit markets have eased a bit since Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc.'s bankruptcy in mid-September, but they remain tight.Light, sweet crude for December delivery fell $3.08 to $59.33 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Late Monday, Starbucks Corp. reported lower sales across the coffee chain, and early Tuesday, Toll Brothers Inc. posted a sharp drop in revenue and said it was too difficult to predict what the luxury homebuilder's profit would be next year.Wall Street was also jittery as the nation's feeble automakers hope for a bailout from the federal government similar to the one given ailing insurer American International Group Inc. General Motors Corp., whose shares have plunged to 60-year lows, said late Monday it would cut 1,900 factory jobs on top of the 3,600 cuts it announced Friday.At the pump, gasoline prices are at a national average of $2.22 a gallon.The dollar moved mostly higher against other major currencies Tuesday, while gold prices dipped.For today, nifty will remain weak below 2950 and on downisde has small support at 2900 and then staright testing of 2850 is definitely on and if breaks 2850, fall might be severe.On upper side, nifty will face resistance at 2950 and 2985.Nifty will be positive only if manages to stay above 3000 and possibilities are very less.Be carefull on shorting if nifty starts trading above 2950 and stays above that.

Bad day for market as nifty closing below 2950..!!

It was a staright fall from yesterday's close of 3150 level to make a low of straight 2919.Market never made any recovery as once it broke strong support 3040, it was straight fall to 2950 strong final support and in the final hours of trading, it even broke 2950.European and Asian markets closed in red today.Overall a very bad day for indian market today and Reliance Industries took the initiative in breaking the market.Huge selling was seen in realty, metal, capital goods, oil, banking and power stocks.Nifty closed at 2938, down 209 points from the previous close. The market breadth was negative with advances at 266 against declines of 996 on the NSE. Top Nifty gainers included Cipla and ITC while losers included Suzlon, SAIL and DLF.

Watch out for higher levels

As expected and told nifty above 3000 remained bullish throughout the day and also managed to close above 3100 and will be interesting to see how nifty reacts at higher levels.On global scenario,The Dow fell 73.27 to 8,870.54, after rising by 215 points in early trading due to the news of China's $586 billion plan to boost its economy through a mix of spending, subsidies, looser credit policies and tax cuts. Dow then tumbled by as many as 183.The dollar was mixed against other major currencies, while gold prices rose.A barrel of light sweet crude rose $1.37 to settle at $62.41 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.For today, Nifty above 3185 will face strong resistance at 3240 and unable to cross 3240 will invite selling from high.So, watch out for 3180 first and then 3240 and if breaks 3240, all over buying will come.On downside, nifty has supports at 3100 and 3080.Volatility might come in the last hour today.

Market in recovery mode now..!

Two days of fall and nifty didn't break 2850 support and now nifty will look good if stays above 3000.On global scenario,The Dow Jones industrial average climbed 248.02 points to 8,943.81.Stocks pared gains immediately after a news conference by President-Elect Barack Obama on some disappointment that he did not outline any new additional steps to shore up the ailing economy in the near term.Trading volume was also less.Oil rose slightly on Friday as the dollar slumped following bleak employment data in the United States, the world's top energy consumer.U.S. crude settled up 27 cents to $61.04 a barrel off earlier highs of $62.82 a barrel.For today in indian market, nifty above 3000 will try for 3050 resistance and if nifty gets past 3050, buying might emerge in the market or else sell from high continues.On lower side, nifty has big support at 2950 and it will turn towards 2860 again if 2950 gets broken, or else range might be 2950-3050 this time.Stay above 3050 only buying might emerge strongly in the market.

Market witnessing strong pullback from low

It was a volatile day as predicted and also nifty was trading between support 2850 and resistance 2950 for most part of the morning session and in the afternoon session like yesterday, it witnessed strong pulll up from low's to take nifty above 3000, but lost some gains in the last hour of trading.It is an interesting end of the week with nifty not breaking important support of 2850.Next week will be more interesting.Nifty closed at 2973, up 80 points.Top Sensex gainers include Reliance Infrastructure, Hindalco, Reliance Communications, TCS and NTPC, while losers are Mahindra & Mahindra, ICICI Bank, Maruti, among others.

Market in the edge again..!!

It was a very dangerous and huge volatile day yesterday as nifty also tested its support 2850 and still closed around that support.Manipulation was at high level yesterday and was there to see for evryone.On global market, The Dow Jones industrial average crashed huge by falling 443.48 to close at 8,695.79 due to investors concern on economic weakness.Major indexes have lost about 10 percent since Barack Obama was elected president - a vote preceded by a steep rally - and the losses represent the Dow's worst two-day percentage decline since the October 1987 crash.he dollar traded mixed against most other major currencies, while gold prices fell.Light, sweet crude fell $4.53 to settle at $60.77 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.The world's largest maker of computer networking gear Cisco Systems Inc orders declined sharply last month, suggesting to the market that the weak economy and tight credit markets are taking a larger-than-expected toll on many companies around the world. Cisco fell 45 cents, or 2.6 percent, to $16.94.In indian market today, if nifty gets past 2900, again it will test 2950 and then 3000 and downside, 2850 is major support for the day and breakdown may result in nifty falling towards 2785 and then 2740 straight.One can expect one more volatile day.

Market started off breaking the crucial resistance 2950 in the opening bell and went down to test major support at 2850 and never broke that as playing range in nifty spot was between 2850 and 2950 for most part of the day and in the late afternoon session buying came in heavily to lift the market above 2950 and crossing even 3000 mark, but came down again in the last hour to break 2950 again and close at 2892, down 102 points.Today also Reliance Industries took the major role in breaking the market down.Top Sensex gainers included JP Associates, HUL, Ranbaxy and DLF, whereas losers were Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Sterlite Industries and RIL, among others.

Market at the edge of big support..!

It was a very bad day of trading for indian market yesterday as nifty directly broke down from 3240 resistance area to test major support around 2950.On global scenario, cues are negative as The Dow Jones industrial average fell 486.01-points to close at-9,139.27 to their fears of a deep and protracted recession after Barack Obama's presidential victory.Although the market expected Obama to win the election, as the session wore on investors were clearly worrying about the weakness of the economy and pondered what the Obama administration might do.Among financials, Goldman Sachs fell $7.57, or 8 percent, to $87.43. Citigroup fell $2.05, or 14 percent, to $12.63, while Bank of America Corp. dropped $2.78, or 11.3 percent, to $21.75.The dollar was mostly lower against other major currencies, while gold prices fell.Light, sweet crude dropped $5.23 to settle at $65.30 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.For today, nifty is all set to break crucial resistance of 2950 and maybe in the opening bell..! and on break of 2950 it will go to 2900 first and then 2845 strong support will be tested.On other side, if nifty gets past 3000, it will face strong resistance at 3050 and 3080 where heavy selling will emerge.One can witness heavy volatility in today's market.Heavy buying might come only if nifty gets past 3080 strong resistance.

Market crashing exactly from resistance zone..!!

Though market was bullish today and zoomed past 3200 in the opening bell, it reacted exactly at resistance zone and came down sharply breaking strong support at 3150 and then in the afternoon session selling became more wild as nifty went on to make a low of 3971 near to major support now.Heavy sell off in heavyweight Reliance Industries triggered the sharp down fall breaking all intermediate supports.Nifty closed at 2994, down 147 points from the previous close.European markets were trading weak and Asian market was positive except indian market. Market in bullish mode and near to some hurdles

It was a good trading day yesterday with nifty closing above 3100 after initial down move below 3000.On global front, cues are very positive and The Dow Jones industrial average moved more than 300 points on U.S elections day.nvestors have overlooked a spate of bad economic data recently, including a report Monday from the Institute for Supply Management that revealed the worst monthly contraction in manufacturing activity.The dollar fell against most other major currencies, while gold prices rose.Light, sweet crude jumped $6.62 to settle at $70.53 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, a reaction to the slide in the dollar..The Dow Jones industrial average closed 9,625.28-up 305.45 points from the previous close.European shares have also been boosted by the ongoing decline in interbank lending rates ahead of expected interest rate reductions Thursday from the European Central Bank and the Bank of England.For today if nifty moves above 3150, all round buying might take nifty towards 3220 first resistance and above that 3265-3280 is one more big resistance zone.Downside supports are at 3100 and 3070 and if 3070 gets broken, it will move toward 3020 strong support for today.This U.S elections has taken the centre stage in this bad market conditions world over.Market is also over bought and interesting to see till which point this rally extends now.

Market closing bullish as expected

Market opened well below yesterday's close and even broke 3000, it recovered well and went above 3000 and as expected faced first resistance at 3080 and was trading in a range struggling to cross crucial resistance at 3080 as given here and then in the late afternoon session, heavy buying came in to lift the market breaking 3080 to make a high of straight 3150.Finance Minister P Chidambaram's meeting today with the heads of PSU banks also had positive effects on the market.He also promised adequate finance will be provided to housing & SME sector. Finance Minister is going to consider Rs 10,000 crore credit line to NHB. RBI will provide enough dollar liquidity to banks. FM aims to have CAR of 12% for all PSU banks.Nifty closed at 3142, up 98 points from the previous close.The market breadth was positive with advances at 930 against declines of 324 on the NSE. Top Nifty gainers included Suzlon, Unitech and DLF while losers included Satyam, TCS and Wipro.Bank and realty stocks led this rally followed by power, capital goods, FMCG and metal stocks.It will be interesting to see the extending of rally here onwards as market needs a breather and nifty has multiple resistances going forward now.

Market on the verge of break out..but caution ahead of U.S elections

Yesterday nifty rallied above 3000 and closed in a bullish note above 3000.Today, if stays above 3000, it will be total bullish and if not, might come down a bit.On global scenario, The Dow Jones industrial average closed 9,319.83-down 5.18 points from the previous close ahead of U.S elections today.Dow Jones moved in a range of 155 points and trading was quiet as it was evident that investors are more cautious and more focused on elections today.Stocks showed little lasting impact from the Institute for Supply Management report that its measure of U.S. manufacturing dropped last month to the lowest level since September 1982.The trade group said its index of manufacturing activity fell to 38.9 from 43.5 in September.The dollar rose against most other major currencies. Gold prices also rose.Light, sweet crude fell $3.87 to settle at $63.91 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.In indian market today, nifty above 3000 will test 3080 strong resistance and if breaks 3080, then move towards 3130 is on today.Higher level might exert pressure again.If nifty breaks 3000, then it will have strong support at 2960.Though market is looking bullish for today, trading might be cautious and indian investors also might be more focused on U.S elections today.

Market closing positive above 3000

Positive global cues added with RBI rate cut took the market high above 3000 today as expected.Nifty today opened above 3000 within minutes of opening and though it came down a bit, buying came in again to lift the market above 3000.Reliance Industries, L&T, SBI, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Bharti Airtel, ONGC and NTPC were biggest contributors in today's rally.But trading volume was less.Nifty closed at 3043, up 158 points from previous close is very positive for the market.Banking and realty stocks, along with capital goods, rallied today.Top Sensex gainers include Reliance Infrasructure, JP Associates, DLF, Ranbaxy, while losers were Satyam Computer and Infosys.Remain above 3000 will be good for the market tomorrow unless we have a big negative news around.Today it will be interesting to see how DOW trades and positive close will boost indian market tomorow also.

Positive global cues can help nifty today

It was a very volatile day of market opening up with a huge gap up on friday and then sudden crash and again move up in the last hour and closing strong.Global cues are still positive for today also, but upper level is seen exerting pressure in the market.Another positive news is of RBI cutting CRR by 1%, repo rate by 0.5% signaling softening of interest rates to prop up growth.The SLR cut would inject about Rs 40,000 crore into the banking system.The Dow Jones industrial average gained 144.32 points, or 1.57 percent, to 9,325.01.Financial shares, led by a more than 8 percent gain in JPMorgan Chase lifted Wall Street as the interbank borrowing cost eased.The interbank cost of borrowing dollars, sterling and euros again eased in overnight markets, lending support to equities.But economic data on Friday that showed U.S. consumers are tightening their belts offered more evidence of a deep slowdown, though the market appeared to shrug it off.Oil fell nearly $2 on Friday as weak demand and the global economic crisis put crude on track for the biggest monthly drop ever.U.S. crude fell $1.82 to $64.14 a barrel.It was the sharpest economic decline in seven years for the United States, the world's largest oil consumer, provoking further falls across commodities and global stock markets.For today's market in india, Nifty might turn positive only above 2920 and if stays above 2920, it will hit 2945 first and then 3000.But, if nifty fails to test 2920, it will come down sharply towards 2850 support first and then to 2790.

The level of 2740 still showing crucial trend

After a break of one day, market will resume today.It was a volatile day on wednesday with nifty feeling pressure at higher levels and the trend is expected to continue today also.On global front, The Dow Jones industrial average went up nearly 190 points with less volatility after the Commerce Department's report that GDP fell at an annual rate of 0.3 percent during the third quarter -- its worst showing in seven years. Analysts expected a 0.5 percent decline in GDP, the broadest measure of economic growth or contraction, but while the report was better than expected, it still pointed to an economy that is shrinking.The new report said Americans' disposable income fell at an annual rate of 8.7 percent in the quarter, the largest in records dating back to 1947 and the worst still doesn't seem to be over yet.A collapse of the housing market and locked-up lending have produced the worst financial crisis to hit the country in more than 70 years.To cushion the fallout, the Fed slashed interest rates on Wednesday by half a percentage point to 1 percent, a level seen only once before in the last half century.The Dow Jones industrial average rose 189.73 to close at 9,180.69.On Thursday, the dollar was mixed against other major currencies, while gold prices fell.Light, sweet crude fell $1.54 to settle at $65.96 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.In indian market today, nifty is facing continuous pressure around 2740 as mentioned on wednesdaya nd today also 2740 will be crucial trend and if nifty stays above that, then it will move to 2800 and if fails to cross 2740 on higher side, it will go down to test 2620 great supporta nd break wil take to 2575.Overall interesting weekend.

Deepawali upmove to continue..!

It was a blasting deepawali muhurat trading yesterday as indian market also danced to the deepawali celebrations as nifty zoomed 160 points to close at 2684 and buying expected to continue today also.Realty, metal, power, capital goods, oil and auto stocks lead the rally yesterday.Global cues are also very positive today with The Dow Jones industrial average jumping nearly 900 points due to short covering ahead of Fed meet and rate cut announcement on Wednesday and after start of the Fed's efforts to revive lending in the commercial paper market, where companies turn for short-term loans and Dow raected positively by closing 889.35 points to 9,065.12.The market's reaction was notable because it was investors' anguish over a likely recession that had them selling just days ago. But analysts don't necessarily see that change of heart as a sign of health.The dollar was mixed against other major currencies, while gold prices fell.Light, sweet crude settled down 49 cents to settle at $62.73 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.For today, indian market is looking bullish and nifty above has small hurdle at 2740 and once it gets past that big hurdle is only at 2850.Below 2740, nifty will remain weak and lower level support is at 2590.Watch out the level of 2740 and even if nifty jumps above this and later hour if breaks this level, be cautious in longs as tomorrow is again a trading holiday.

Uncertain market with severe volatility

Break 2850....bloodbath in the market

As clearly mentioned today, 2850 was the huge support and it was told thet break of 2850 everything will crash and the result is there to see..!! It was a crash across global equity markets today.The Reserve Bank of India has announced the credit policy, wherein it has kept all key rates remained unchanged.Banking stocks took huge beating on the bourses, after the credit policy.Nifty broke 2850 in early minutes of tarde and once it broke 2850, it never even touched 2850 again as it was a staright crash.Sellers were in rampage today and the same thing happened even in U.S market when government put a ban on short selling and stock market reacted in opposite way and even in indian market, same thing repeated.Yesterday SEBI banned FIIS short selling and market raected in opposite way by crashing down.Below 2850 support was at 2740 and after breaking 2740, straight support was at 2600 and when nifty touched 2600, it bounced back to 2650 and then again in last minutes, came down heavily to break even 2600 to make a low of 2525 !!.Today, Reliance Industries, ONGC, Reliance Communication, SBI, ICICI Bank, HDFC, HDFC Bank and L&T were main players dragging market down.Nifty at 2584, down 359 points from the previous close.The market breadth was negative with advances at 87 against declines of 1196 on the NSE.

Wall street crash will effect indian market now

It was a very bad day for indian market yesterday as it started falling right from the opening bell and never really recovered till the end closing below 3100 and in all probability set to open deep down today due to weak global cues.On global side, wall street crashed due to deep recession and weak corporate earnings following a raft of disappointing profits and outlooks from major U.S. companies.For many U.S. companies, the damage has already begun.The outlook for the global economy is bad.Stocks dropped across Asia and Europe, falling even harder in South America, where Brazil's Bovespa index and Argentina's Merval had losses near 10 percent. Argentina's president announced plans to nationalize private pension funds to protect retirees from the financial crisis.The dollar hit multiyear highs against several other major currencies, weighing on commodity prices.The Dow Jones industrial average fell 514.45 to 8,519.21, after being down as much as 698 points in the final half hour of trading.Light, sweet crude fell $5.43 to $66.75 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, after falling as low as $66.20.So, for today nifty below 3045 will directly test 2945 strong support area and break below that, one more big support is only at 2850.On upper side, 3000 will act as big hurdle for today.Volatility may continue today also.

Volatility to continue in the market

Even though Nifty was bullsih and got past 3240 yesterday in the last hour, it couldn't sustain above that and closed below 3240-which will again play an important role today also.On global front, mixed third-quarter reports were dissappointing and The Dow Jones industrial average fell 231.77 to 9,033.66.The technology-focused Nasdaq saw steeper declines than the other major indexes after server and software company Sun Microsystems warned it would post a loss for its fiscal first quarter and book a write-down.Though credit markets around the world are easing out and is a good sign for the market.The dollar was higher against other major currencies, while gold prices fell.Light, sweet crude fell $3.36 to settle at $70.89 barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.In indian market for today, if Nifty gets past 3240 and sustain above that only we can see some movements around 3300-3330 levels and if nifty stays below 3240, it will test 3200 first and if breaks that, downside strong support is at 3150.Volatility will be continued for the time being.

It was a fearfull fall for indian market where nifty went near 3000 levels on friday.Now the global scenario has to help in lifting the market from here on.The Dow Jones industrial average lost 127.04 points on Friday to close at 8,852.22, after falling 261 points in the early going and rising 302 points - a 563-point range.The dollar was mixed against other major currencies, while gold prices fell. Global market melt down again..!!

It was a drastic fall in indian market yesterday as nifty went for selling right from the opening and halted around 3300 support area which is likely to be broken in the opening bell today.Reserve Bank of India on Wednesday cut CRR (cash reserve ratio) by 100 basis points, or 1 per cent.This CRR cut will infuse Rs 40,000 crore (Rs 400 billion) into banking system.The RBI also increased interest rates on Non-Resident deposit schemes by 50 basis points, or 0.5 per cent.Though these measures are positive for indian market, global melt down may effect its sentiments today.On global scenario, The Dow ended down 733.08 at 8,577.91 after the government's report that retail sales plunged in September by 1.2 percent -- almost double the 0.7 percent analysts expected.Big U.S. banks started falling in line Tuesday behind the rejiggered bailout plan.Even though government came out in bailing out financial sectors, economy slow down seems to be continuing.The credit markets have been showing tentative signs of recovery, though they remain strained.Light, sweet crude fell $4.09 to settle at $74.54 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.In indian market, one can expect gap down opening today and below 3300, nifty will remain weak only.Downside supports below 3300 will be at 3265 and below that 3200 and 3160 will be the strong support.On upperside above 3300, nifty will face resistance at 3380-where heavy selling is expected.Onle above 3380, things will turn positive.If there is gap down opening, watch out for first support at 3265 and if not broken, buying might come from there.

Market looking tired after huge rally

It was huge rally and then profit booking at the end in indian market yesterday and higher level was exerting pressure continuously yesterday.In global scenario, The Dow Jones industrials declined 77 points on Tuesday after piling up their biggest point gain ever on Monday on news of Europe's rescue plan and in anticipation of the United States' new measures.Profit-taking set in after the Dow surged more than 400 points at the opening.Big banks started falling in line Tuesday behind a rejiggered bailout plan that will have the government forking over as much as $250 billion in exchange for partial ownership.Only time will tell whether this bail out plan will work or not as investors are still not confident and definetly takes some time.The Dow fell 76.62 to 9,310.99. Market might explode heavily again today..!

It was a great trading day yesterday as nifty jumped above 3500 and it remained in bullish mode throughout the day and today also global cues are very positive and in all probabilities, nifty might open gap up.It was a historic day for U.S market yesterday as The Dow gained more than 11 percent in response to dramatic government economic relief efforts in the U.S. and overseas -- and the possibility of the even bolder American action-its biggest one-day rally since 1933, and by points it shattered the previous record for a one-day gain of 499, during the waning days of the technology boom in 2000.The Dow Jones industrial closed at 9,387.61 up by 936.42 points from the previous close.The surge came as executives from leading banks were summoned by the Bush administration to Washington to work out a plan to get loans, the lifeblood of the economy, moving again. And it followed signals that European governments would put nearly $2 trillion on the line to protect their own banks.
In indian market today, if nifty opens gap up above 3630, it will move straight to resistance at 3740 and crossover of 3740 may fire to 3820 straight.It will be interesting to see where it will open today.On downside below 3630, nifty has supports at 3550-3490-3445.It's an interesting day of trading and today it will be buy at dips again.

Market may just start showing relief rally now

It was a scary fall in indian market last week and the begining of this week may show some relief rally though global cues are still negative.The Dow lost 128 points, giving the blue chips an eight-day loss of just under 2,400, or 22.1 percent. On Friday, the Dow was down 468 points at 3 but rocketed 790 points and was up 322 points just after 3:30. It then sold off but closed down only 128.The Dow Jones industrial closed at 8,451.49-128 points down from the previous close.Most major central banks around the world slashed interest rates this week after continuing problems in the credit market triggered concerns that banks will run out of money.Meanwhile the US government has decided to buy stake in banks, first time since Depression.The purchase of stakes in companies would be in addition to the main thrust of the $700 billion rescue effort, which is to buy bad mortgages and other distressed assets from financial institutions.Moreover the Finance officials from the world's top economic powers endorsed a plan Friday to stem the worst financial crisis in more than a half-century.On Friday, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said it would make a deeper-than-expected 150 basis point cut in cash reserve requirements on Saturday, to release 600 billion rupees ($12.4 billion) into the system.The stock market may take some positives on these news now.For today, even if there is gap down opening buying wil come from lower levels and nifty above 3340 will face resistance at 3400 and on downside below 3250 might go till 3220-3200.Watch out for volatile day of trading again.

Market near the crucial edge again !

Below 4000 nifty remains weak

Indian market just recovered from low's on wednesday and closed good.But, as i mentioned on wednesday itself, today's moves will depend on global cues as yesterday was a trading holiday and global cues are negative for today as DOW jones fell 348.22 to 10,482.85 even after the $700 billion financial industry bailout found a second life on Wednesday, winning lopsided passage in the Senate and gaining ground in the House, where Republicans opposition softened.Unemplyement worries again showing concern in U.S now.The U.S has also extended ban against all short-selling in the shares of more than 800 financial companies till 17th of this month.Light, sweet crude fell $4.56 to settle at $93.97 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Gold and other commodities also declined during the session.So, be cautious in higher levels today.Nifty has to get past crucial resistances at 4000-4025 for further upmove and if nifty breaks 3920, it will slide to 3880 first and then break will take to 3845.

Though indian market opened low due to global breakdown, it recovered remarkably well to move almost near to 4000 and will it stay above 4000 is a big question mark now as ADAG may have different plans and tomorrow's trading holiday may bring in volatility also.On global scenario, The Dow rose 485.21 to 10,850.66 after the historic fall yesterday.Though the U.S governments financial rescue plan failed, they are in for second attempt in improving credit crisis and though nothing has been still finalised, this upmove is not with full confidence as worries are still very much in investors and DOW can go down again.Light, sweet crude rose $4.27 to settle at $100.64 on the New York Mercantile Exchange. U.S fianacial relief plan failed..DOW witness historic crash !!

It was a very bad day for world market yesterday as here in india nifty broke down to make a low of 3777-very near to support 3755 and in global scenario, setimesnts are very very weak as The Dow Jones industrial average witnessed its worst day fall in history of 21 years as it crashed 777.68 points 10,365.45 and the privious big fall was 684 points it lost on the first day of trading after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.This historic fall was due to the House of Representatives rejecting the $700 billion financial relief plan of U.S government.The bailout bill failed 228-205 in the House.Crude factor was another major hit as Light, sweet crude fell $10.52 to settle at $96.36 on the New York Mercantile Exchange as investors feared energy demand would continue to slide amid further economic weakness.Now the U.S government will have to search for some other alternative for saving their economy.In Indian market, if nifty breaks 3777 on opening bell will break even 3755 support in all probability and will march towards 3700 first and then stright to 3630 area.If nifty moves above 3850, it will face resistance at 3870 and then 3920 where heavy selling might be witnessed again.Be cautious in first hour trading today as there may be severe volatility in the market today.Today's opening will be interesting to see..can india decouple from world market..! in coming years, india will decouple from world market.Right now, all kinds of manipulations are killing the market.Manipulators are heavily using these kind of opportunities and very shortly base will be formed for short term super up move.

Market may show some recovery today

Though market crashed on friday and closed below 4000, we have some positive news in nuclear deal today as mentioned on friday (123 agreement) and if nifty holds on to support 3970 today, it might move up and there might be gap up opening also.
On global front, The Dow Jones industrial average rose 121.07 to 11,143.13 and though there are still concerns about U.S governments bail out plans, sentiments are little positive now.Congressional leaders and the White House agreed Sunday to a $700 billion rescue of the ailing financial industry after lawmakers insisted on sharing spending controls with the Bush administration. The biggest U.S. bailout in history won the tentative support of both presidential candidates and goes to the House for a vote Monday.The final result of this bail out plan will be seen in few more months and will be interesting to see how the financial sectors perform henceforth.In indian market today, if nifty moves above 4000, it will face resistance around 4040 and then 4065 and if these are taken off then it can move to test 4115 straight.There might also be gap up opening today and even if there is gap down opening, there might be recovery coming in later.Only if nifty stays below 3970, things might get weak.

India-U.S 123 agreement will come into picture now !

It was quiet ending of september month F&O contract expiry as nifty closed negative again.On global scenario, The Dow rose 196.89 to 11,022.06.The dollar was mixed against other major currencies Thursday, while gold prices fell.Light, sweet crude for November delivery rose $2.29 to settle at $108.02 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.Stock market investors got a lift when key lawmakers said they would present the $700 billion plan to the Bush administration and hoped for a vote by both houses of Congress within days.In indian market, nifty has made a low of 4077 and if this is not broken, it may act as support for the upmove now and if nifty breaks 4115, it will move towards 4130-4140 big resistance and if this resistance is not broken, again higher level selling will come and if this resistance is broken, nifty may move still higher and today's closing is also important and now the news of indo-U.S 123 agreement making rounds again and signing this before monday may again pull the market up above 4200 and maybe one more chance for traders to go short at higher levels ! This 123 agreement is nothing but agreement between U.S and india regarding nuclear power, testing etc.Under the agreement India will be able to develop a strategic reserve of nuclear fuel to guard against any disruption of supply over the lifetime of its nuclear power reactors.So, this will be positive for the market and how far this can lift the market when the agreement is signed (expected before monday) remains to be seen.Sectors like BHEL, L&T, Rolta, NTPC etc will be in focus again.Overall interesting days of trading again.Watch out for today's closing and dont be surprised if there is gap up opening on monday if this agreement is signed before monday.For today, if nifty breaks 4070 it will be bad for the day as nifty might go towards 4000 and be cautious if there is gap down opening as recovery is also possible from lower end.

Crazy jump of crude oil shows the depth of manipulation !

Yesterday nifty reacted exactly at my resistance level around 4265 and came down towards 4200 and weekness is expected to continue today also and today there might be lots of volatility in the market due to various factors like thursday expiry and uncertain global cues etc.In global scenario, it was crazy trading in crude oil which shows the depth of manipulation in that ! Light, sweet crude for October delivery jumped as much as $25.45 to $130 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange before falling back to settle at $120.92, up $16.37.The Nymex temporarily halted electronic crude oil trading after prices breached the $10 daily trading limit. As expected 3900 was the key and for now nifty didn't break that and moved near to 4100.It was massive fall in 2-3 days because of Lehman brothers bankruptcy and the fact that it has its position in many of indian stocks, there might be one more fall after some raise in the market.On global front, the U.S. government agreed Tuesday to provide an $85 billion emergency loan to rescue the huge insurer AIG and improve U.S economy and Barclays PLC said Tuesday it had agreed to acquire Lehman's North American investment banking and capital markets businesses for $250 million in cash and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and his colleagues decided to keep a key interest rate steady Tuesday.The Dow Jones industrials gained 141 points after the Fed's action soothed market anxiety over the financial system.So, on these positive cues indian market might move todaya nd if nifty gets past 4120 resistance it will zoom towards 4165 and then 4220 big resistance.On downside, below 4120 nifty has supports at 4040 and 3980.There might be gap up opening and caution is required as selling might again come from higher levels.Today's last hour action is very important also.

3900 will hold the key for the market now

Market crash taking nifty straight to major support level

It was selling at opening bell today and nifty took a heavy pounding straight away testing the major support at 4200.Today it was combined effect of heavyweights Reliance Industries, Infosys, Ongc, ICICI Bank and HDFC which was dragging the market down.Global cues were positive today and when good IIP numbers were announced, some buying came in, but couldn't sustain at higher levels again and collapsed later.Nifty closed at 4228, down 61 points from the previous close.The market breadth was negative with advances at 259 against declines of 1003 on the NSE. Nifty gainers included Nalco, Maruti, SAIL and BHEL while losers included Reliance Infrastructure, Infosys, DLF, HDFC, ONGC and ICICI Bank.Market still not able to sustain at higher levels these day's.

Positive global cues may help indian market today

Market again broke important support at 4280 yesterday and closed at 4290 and inflation figures released yesterday evening came at 12.1 % from 12.34 % a week earlier and is little positive for the market and even the global cues are very positive today and this may help india market also to pick up from here.But will be very interesting to see how it reacts at important resistances from here on.On global front, Dow Jones industrial average rose 164.79 to 11,433.71, after falling by as many as 170 points in the early going.Light, sweet crude fell $1.71 to settle at $100.87 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange and with these many positive cues, indian market also has to pick today and nifty above 4300 will move to first resistance at 4325 and then will face strong resistance at 4365 and failure to crossover will invite selling again and if gets through that, then it will move to 4380-4400 level.Overall an interesting day today.Downside, if nifty breaks 4280-supports are at 4235-4200.

Nifty in deep red as expected

It was gap down opening today below 4380 and never recovered from there and then broke even strong support of 4280 in the last hour of trading and closed at 4290, down 109 points from the previous close.Even the asian and Europian market was trading in deep red.Today's inflation figures announcement in the evening is anxiously awaited now.Market mover Reliance Industries again took the initiative in dragging the market to deep red today.In the afternoon session, market was playing in narrow range as it approached strong support at 4280 and then suddenly this support was broken, but interestingly didn't plunge too much towards the end.The market breadth was negative with advances at 263 against declines of 1000 on the NSE. Top Nifty gainers included Tata Motors and PNB while losers included Reliance Industries, Zee Entertainment, Reliance Infrastructure, Suzlon, HCL Technologies and Bharti Airtel.

Inflation figures announcement in th evening may bring in volatility

It was another bad day for indian market yesterday as it crashed to its strong support at 4380, but never broke it.Well, it would be very interesting to see nifty today as in the morning session if 4380 is still held it can move up to test 4440 resistance again and failure to break will come down to retest 4380 and break will be very bad.On global front, Dow Jones industrial average rose 38.19 to 11,268.92 after dipping briefly into negative territory, rising by nearly 150 points, and then pulling back again.Lehman shares fell another 54 cents to close at $7.25, after plummeting 45 % on Tuesday.Bank and brokerage stocks finished mostly lower after Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. said it plans to sell a majority stake in its investment management business and spin off its troubled mortgage assets.Light, sweet crude fell 68 cents to settle at $102.58 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.For today, in indian market nifty above 4400 may test 4440 resistance and if doesn't cross, will come back again to retest 4380 and break of 4380 will take it t0 4325 support.Today evening, inflation figures will be announced and market may be cautious and last hour may turn volatile again.

Market breaking strong support and in deep red

Market opened weak below yesterday's close with weak global cues and was range bound in the morning session and then later on selling came in severely to make a low of 4382 and then close at at 4400, down 68 points from the previous close.
The market breadth was negative with advances at 338 against declines of 933 on the NSE.Midcap and Small cap stocks were also under pressure.Top Nifty gainers included Suzlon, Hero Honda and ACC while losers included Sterlite, SAIL and Tata Steel.Europe was trading weak and Asian market was trading mixed today.Now break below 4380 will take nifty towards 4300 and for tomorrow 4440 will act as hurdle again.

Market set to open weak again

With negative global cues, indian market is also set to open weak today.Yesterday nifty did break 4440 support and closed just above 4460 and today again looks weak and even global cues are negative today.Dow Jones industrial average fell 280.01 to 11,230.73.Oil closed below $104 a barrel for the first time since early April after Hurricane Ike appeared to be headed away from energy installations in the Gulf Coast.Light, sweet crude fell $3.08 to settle at $103.26.OPEC oil ministers decide curb overproduction by more than 500,000 barrels a day an attempt to prevent prices from falling too far.Crude oil is highly manipulated.So, in indian market today, nifty will face tougher resistance at 4500 and on downside strong support exists at 4420 and below that panic will be created in the market and nifty will slide to another huge support on further downside at 4380.
